5 week, Recreational Wrestling Program

boys & girls in Kindergarten - 3rd grade

6:00-7:00 PM on the following dates at the Lynden High School Wrestling Room:

Oct. 7, Oct. 8, Oct. 14, Oct. 15, Oct. 22, Oct. 23, Oct. 29, Oct. 30, Nov. 5, Nov. 6

[of note: we have to accommodate the Lynden High School volleyball game schedule, which is why there are some variations of tuesdays, wednesdays, & thursdays]

T-Shirt Included

Due to space constraints in the mat room, students will have to be dropped off at the door for this activity. Parents/guardians will not be allowed to come and stay in the mat room, as mentioned for space and also the noise in such a small space. Please consider this before registering your child.

Coaches are needed! Please considering signing up and registering as a coach if you are able.

Season runs: Nov 11 - Dec 11
Tuesday & Thursday evenings from 7:00 - 8:15  (*exception of one Wednesday) 
Session dates: Nov 11, Nov 13, Nov 18, Nov 20, Nov 25, Dec 2, Dec 4, Dec 10*, Dec 11
(*Dec 10 is a Wednesday)
Location: LYNDEN HIGH SCHOOL, WRESTLING ROOM

Soccer 2025 - Fall 2025

REGISTRATION IS CLOSED - CONTACT LYS.soccer@yahoo.com to ask if there might still be a chance to join. Make sure you note your child's grade and gender on the email. 

You may register ONLY if you have specific permission from the coordinator. 

Recreational soccer league for 2nd - 12th grades. Games & Practices held at Bender Fields in Lynden, WA.

Grades: 2nd - 12th (high school co-ed) 2ND/3RD GRADE BOYS DIVISION IS FULL as of 8/22. Email LYS.soccer@yahoo.com to be added to the waitlist. 

Early Bird Deadline: July 20, 2025 

Fee: $50 ($5 late fee applied after July 20) 

Season: September 6 - October 25

Practices: Begin late August. One or two weeknights before the games begin at the discretion of the coach. One night per week after games begin. 

Games: Saturday mornings at Bender Fields.   

Coaches Needed: We are always looking for coaches. If you are interested, please sign up here or contact us with any questions. 

Team Sponsors: $150 - ALL SPONSORSHIPS ARE FULL.
(Business name will go on back of team shirt. Specify preferred shirt color, if any. Sponsor spots are not guaranteed & are dependent upon registration numbers and team placements.)

All fees must be paid at time of application or the applicant will not be placed on a team. Space is limited; order of acceptance determined by receipt of application and fee payment. All players participate in games, practices, etc. at their own risk. LYS is not responsible for accidents, injuries, or lost equipment.

Cheer 2025 - Fall 2025

Grades: 1st - 6th

Season: August - October

Come make new friends and reunite with old friends by cheerleading! LYS Cheer is a recreational cheer program that teaches sideline cheers, chants, stunts, and halftime dances to support the LYS Football teams. Cheerleaders will perform at tackle football games on Saturdays during the LYS Football season.

There will be two practices per week before games begin. After games begin, there will be one practice per week and one game on Saturdays.
